The Health Unit promotes breastfeeding as the best way to feed babies. The World Health Organization, Health Canada, Dietitians of Canada, Canadian Pediatric Society and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario all recommend that baby should receive nothing but breast milk for the first six months.  Vitamin D (400 IU) per day should also be given, and medicines if necessary.

  • Best for baby's health.
  • Best for mom's health.
  • Provides life-long health benefits.
  • A LOT cheaper than formula.
